Coaches, We are working with a couple more teams that are trying to enter the Western Nationals. Our plan is to start the schedules tomorrow afternoon. Below are some of the key points that will help you be prepared for the tournament, so please review the information.
Opening Ceremony Party Timeline & Tournament Information:
Coaches Check-In will begin at 7pm on Friday night on Field #5 at Ford Park
Each coach will need to log into their team account and upload their team insurance or present a copy at check-in
Each team must have their players entered online, as we will not ask for hard copy rosters
At Check-in you will get a set amount of tickets for the players on your team that they will use to get their treat during the party
The DJ Party will being at 8pm Friday night
There will be no pin trading or gift exchange as we are trying to keep costs for teams at a moderate levels since team accounts have been depleted this late in the season
Tug of War Tournament will begin at 8:30pm with the winner in each division getting a set of Champion Shirts
Suggestion is for the players to bring their batting gloves as it can be rough on their hands!
The Ford Park Concession will not be open Friday night and teams will be allowed to bring in their coolers Friday night; obviously no alcohol is allowed at Ford Park at any time
Saturday morning Ford Park will go back to the Team Cooler rule, and the coaches will get their team cooler tag at the Friday night check in
No fans are allowed in Ford Park due to safety/insurance rules, so be prepared to refill your team cooler as much as you need
There will be cold water provided in the dugouts
Teams will be able to play their own ball for this event
Gate fee for Saturday/Sunday at $10 weekend pass, $7 daily, 12&under are free along with coaches & players
There will not be a gate fee for the Friday night party
We urge the teams to wear an alternate jersey or practice shirt so your teams match during the tug of war tournament
Reminder that no metal cleats are allowed at Ford Park due to the turf fields
We are excited to have your groups in Beaumont this coming weekend, it should be a great event!
Format adjusted to a 6GG with games now beginning on Saturday morning to allow more teams to play in this event! Teams in the Region were struggling to make Friday games, so we decided to adjust to make it more advantagious for teams to play.
