North Carolina State Championship

 

AA and AAA Division

North Carolina will host multiple events qualifying teams to the USSSA AA AND AAA State Championship. Qualifying for the North Carolina State Championship has never been more easier. The top USSSA Points Leader as of June 10, 2009 9:00 AM will be awarded a paid berth to the state championship.  In order to qualify for AA or AAA your team must play 3 USSSA Spring Events. Teams may request permission to play in this event if they have not met the minimum qualifications due to weather unforseen circumstances.

 

AA and AAA State Championship June 12-14, 2009

Please take time and visit our website for the NC AAA and AA State Championship. On our site you and you spectators can sign up for live game scores for your team or any other team in the event. The scores can be sent via text message or email. T3 Travel and USSSA have joined forces in order to lessen the stress of traveling and making arrangements for your stay while attending the State Championship.  On our website you will be able to find a list of parks with maps and area hotels specific to each age and class of Play.

6U, 7UMP, 8UMP Championship June 19-21, 2009

The tournament is open to all teams. 6U will play T-ball. 7U and 8U will play Machine Pitch.  In the Junior Division we ask that you play in at least 3 NC USSSA Spring Events prior to the State Championship. T-Ball Teams Will be Open Entry and this Means you do not need to play in 3 Events prior to the State. If your team has played in a USSSA League then you are qualified to enter the State Championship. The USSSA Points Leader as of June 10, 2009 9:00 AM will be awarded a Paid berth.  If your team has won an NIT the only other requirement is to play in our State Championship to keep your World Series Berth. All Games will be played at Johnson St Sports Complex, High Point, NC. Teams may request permission to play in this event if they have not met the minimum qualifications due to weather unforseen circumstances.

 

NC Majors State Championship June 19-21, 2009

The tournament is open to age 9U-14U.  9U division will play OPEN bases. We ask that you play in at least 2 USSSA Spring Events prior to the State Championship. The USSSA Points Leader as of June 10, 2009 9:00 AM will be awarded a Paid berth. Teams may request permission to play in this event if they have not met the minimum qualifications due to weather unforseen circumstances.

Scholastic (15U,16U,17U,18U) State Championship June 26-28, 2009

The tournament is open to age 15U, 16U, and High School.  In this we ask that you play in at least 2 USSSA Spring Events prior to the State Championship. The USSSA Points Leader as of June 10, 2009 9:00 AM will be awarded a berth.  Games will be played in Greensboro/High Point. High School Division will be Played at Cary Academy in Cary. Teams may request permission to play in this event if they have not met the minimum qualifications.

Format is subject to change

Teams will play two (2) pool games seeded by USSSA Points.  After pool play, the teams will be seeded into a single elimination championship bracket.
