FALL BALL REGISTRATION
It’s time. Fall Ball registration is up and running. (And thanks, as ever to the lovely and supremely efficient Shelley Hamilton for getting that set up!) Here's the link:

Fall Ball is designed to provide a fun, instructional, non-competitive way for kids to keep playing ball during the “off season”. The schedule is generally pretty light, with a week-day practice and a Sunday game most weeks, so if your kid wants to play both baseball and soccer, it is doable. Busy, but doable.
Practices and games start up in the last week of August/first week of September (the games are yet to be scheduled, pending a final head-count) and go through October.
There are five divisions: Juniors (all 13 and 14-year-olds); Returning Majors (for kids who played in the Majors last season); Entering Majors (for kids who plan to play in the Majors for the first time next season); Returning Minors (kids who played in the Minors last season and plan to return next season); and Entering Minors (for kids who plan to play in the Minors for the first time in 2011). Please select the appropriate one for your child.
We hope to keep the team sizes to 12 this year to allow for maximum play time, so please sign up right away to avoid being wait-listed. If
there is very high demand in one of the divisions, we will do our
darndest to set up another team so as to accommodate everyone, but your
best bet is to click on the link right now and sign up to insure your spot.
And if you’d like to coach, just shoot me an email and let me know so we can get you all set up. annecapron@sbcglobal.net You
can also email with any questions you might have … I don’t tend to
check the address from which I blast these notes, and I don’t mid
getting league emails on my personal address, so please use the sbcglobal account.
And finally, please be thinking of how you might like to help out next year. It’s lots of fun, a great group of people, and not too much work if we split up the tasks. Little
League can always use fundraisers, field maintenance crews, coaches,
assistant coaches, event-day planners, team moms, and people to order,
maintain, and distribute the equipment.
We will also most likely be splitting the Snack Shacks next year, which means we will be needing someone to manage each of the five locations (Woodacre, Lefty, Pt. Reyes, the Mobile Juniors Shack, and Central). I will be happy to sit down with you and let you know everything that’s involved. Games
are much more fun with a little something to nosh on, and we won’t be
able to provide a shack at a location with no manager available!
Thanks, Baseball Fans, and we’re looking forward to seeing you in the bleachers!
Happy Baseball
